Getting into good cleaning habits


Knowing how to effectively clean a house or office properly is one of the fundamentals of making life smooth and pleasant for family, friends and colleagues. There are a few things that can be done by everyone at the beginning of their day to ensure a calm start . . . . As soon as we jump out of bed, turn the covers right back, neatly folded over as far down the bed as possible – this will help to air the bed whilst you shower and get dressed for the day. In the bathroom, after showering, hot rinse the cubicle wash off soap/foam. Dry it with an e-cloth – you’ll be amazed how much easier it is to keep clean if you do this every time you use it. Keeping the shampoo & shower gel containers upright and in neat order doesn’t take long either. If several of you share the facilities, encourage each to tidy up after themselves. Put stuff away – all the gels, face creams, deodorant, tooth stuff. As soon as you’ve used something, put it away in a cupboard, on the shelf, wherever its home is. Rinse the basin and de-hair the plugholes every time you use them and it won’t build up. Just make the bathroom look as nice as you like to find it. It’s only seconds out of a busy schedule but makes oceans of difference to your well being.
